Johnny Cay

Johnny Cay is a small island located in the Caribbean Sea, about 7 minutes by boat from the island of San Andres.  It is a popular tourist destination known for its white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and relaxed atmosphere.

​

There are a number of guided tours available that will take you to Johnny Cay.  Tours include round-trip transportation from San Andres, use of the port, and entrance to the National Natural Park. 

The price of the tour varies according to the tour operator about $85.000 COP per person.

Duration: 5 hours.

Aquarium and Haynes Cay

The Aquarium and Haynes Cay tour is a half-day tour that departs from San Andres Island. Includes a visit to two of the most popular islands in the archipelago, Aquarium and Haynes Cay.

 

The aquarium is a small island known for its crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life. Haynes Cay is a larger island with white sand beaches and swaying palm trees.

 

The tours include round-trip transportation from San Andres and the use of the port. 

The price of the tour varies according to the tour operator about $75.000 COP per person.

Duration: 5 hours.

Parasailing

Parasailing is a popular activity on the island of San Andrés, and for good reason.  It is an exciting way to see the beautiful beaches of the island, crystal clear waters, and lush vegetation from a bird's eye view.

 

There are several parasailing tour operators on the island.

prices vary depending on the operator and the duration of the tour. 

A typical tour lasts about 15 minutes and with a value of $190,000COP per person ($50).

 

During the tour, you will be strapped into a harness and attached to a parachute 100 meters above sea level. You will then be towed behind a boat as you fly through the air.

 

Tour duration: 2 hours in total.

Departure times: 9:00 a.m. - 11a.m - 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
 

The experience is exhilarating and unforgettable.

Diving

Diving on San Andrés Island is a truly unforgettable experience. The island is located in the Caribbean Sea, off the coast of Colombia, and is home to some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world.  The water is crystal clear and the visibility is incredible, making it a great spot for both novice and experienced divers.

Kayaks

Guided activity in transparent kayaks by bilingual islanders within the Old Point Mangrove Park, lasting two hours. ​

 

The visit to these mangroves will become a new experience for the visitor in which they can enjoy and at the same time learn about these incredible ecosystems and their importance in the island culture.

 

During the tour in these calm and shallow waters, you will go through beautiful tunnels formed by red mangroves, you will navigate over seagrass meadows, communities of inverted jellyfish, flat oysters, and green and brown algae among other wonderful mangrove inhabitants, as part of the tour we practice snorkeling in shallow waters and at the end of the tour, a typical snack is provided. ​

Departures from Monday to Saturday: 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.

Departures Sundays and holidays: 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
